Obituary: Charles Franklin Barnes Sr., 86, of Milford
Charles was the owner of Barney Signs Services for many years, a proud DAV member and a parishioner of the United Church of Christ.
MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Charles Franklin Barnes Sr., age 86, of Milford, beloved husband of Amelia Raymond Barnes for 64 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 with his family by his side.
He was born in Norwalk on May 21, 1934 to the late Albert and Mary Ready Barnes. He was a US Army veteran and was the owner of Barney Signs Services for many years.
Charles was a proud DAV member and an active parishioner in the United Church of Christ in Devon.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Amelia, include his son, Charles Barnes Jr. (Denise) of Milford and his extended family, Gregory and Rose Marie Nolan.
Services will be private.
