Obituary: Elaine J. Douglas, 73, of Milford

MILFORD, CT - (From D'Angelo Funeral Home) Elaine J. Douglas, 73, of Milford, wife of Philip Douglas, passed away at the Connecticut Hospice on March 9, 2021.

Elaine was born April 23, 1947, in New Haven, daughter of the late Antonio Tousignant and Rose Picardi.

She was employed as an Executive Secretary for Electralux. Besides her husband, Philip, she is survived by a daughter, Laura Douglas of Massachusetts, two sisters, Anna Rourke of Connecticut and Sharon Rosacker of North Carolina, a brother in law, Stephen Douglas and his wife Barbara of New Jersey as well as her nieces, Dawn Nowak, Crystal Paradis, Clarissa Robakeiwicz and a nephew, Chris Rourke.

She is predeceased by a niece, Kimberly Rourke.

Elaine was an avid animal lover and she leaves behind her cats, Jade and Ginger and a grandcat, Talula.

Calling hours will be held at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St, Middletown, on Tuesday, March 16th from 12:00PM - 2:00PM.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
