Obituary: George A. Giba, 88, of Milford
George, a U.S. Army veteran, worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Scovill Manufacturing Co. He was an active bowler and enjoyed playing poker.
MILFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) George A. Giba, age 88, of Milford, passed away on February 17, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital.
George was born in Waterbury on January 14, 1933 to the late Andrew and Julia (Harvis) Giba and had been a lifelong Waterbury resident, prior to moving to Milford in 2010.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired Tool and Die Maker for Scovill Manufacturing Co.

George was an active member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church in Waterbury and was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing poker.
Survivors include his cousins, Kim Bielecki and her husband Bob of Stratford, Leslie Bielecki and her husband Ted of Milford, and Georgiana Harvis of Waterbury.
