Obituary: Gloria Hansen, 93, Of Milford

Gloria Virginia Hansen, age 93, of Milford, entered eternal rest on May 8, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital, Milford Campus.

She was born on September 20, 1929, in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Vera (Soper) Hansen.

Gloria enjoyed life and loved all living things, especially animals. She opened her heart and her home to many lucky cats throughout her life.

Gloria is survived by her dear friend, Mary E. Kriksciun, her husband, Michael Kember of Milford, and niece and nephew, Gail Mundy Riddle and Robert Mundy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Carol Adele (Hansen) Mundy-Minerd, and her brothers-in-law, Robert Earl Mundy and Robert Ezra Minerd.

A Christian burial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf St.

The interment will be private.
