Obituary: Jane Marie Youngblood (Geddes), 56, of Milford
Jane, a devoted mother and administrative manager for Grecowolf Engineering, had a passion for flowers, gardening and decorating.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Jane Marie Youngblood (Geddes), 56, of Milford, CT, cherished mother of Joseph Youngblood, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021.
She was born on December 3, 1964, in Milford to Charles and Jane Geddes (Milligan).
Jane was a graduate of Platt Technical High School. She was a hard worker and put her all into any job she had. She worked for years as a secretary, and most recently as an administrative manager at Grecowolf Engineering.
She had a passion for flowers and gardening. She loved decorating and celebrating for the holidays, especially Halloween. She was an animal lover, and treasured her pup Ripley. Her greatest joy was her son Joe, whom she devoted her everything to. She was always an honest and loyal sister and friend.
If she loved you, you knew it and she would protect you fiercely.
She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Youngblood and her beloved companion furbaby Ripley, her mother Jane Geddes, siblings John Geddes, Julia Hillier, Isabel Debowski (Derek), Charles Geddes (Dee) and Patricia German (Ian) as well as her cherished nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sister of the heart, Maryanne Filanowski.
She was predeceased and is reunited with her father, Charles Geddes, brother James “Ray” Geddes, nephew Christopher Dow, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents, John and Isabella Geddes and James and Julia Milligan.
