Obituary: Lesley Erlacher, 96, of Milford

Lesley enjoy a successful career in nursing, specializing in obstetrics and was a past member of the Milford Professional Woman's Club.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Lesley Erlacher, 96, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Paul Erlacher, Jr., passed away on October 20, 2021. Born on Febraury 12, 1925 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Iola Webb Field and Judge Warren Amos Field.

Lesley was a graduate of Milford High School and York College, PA (York Hospital Cadet Nursing Program) as an RN and upon graduation she received the Pediatric Nursing Award.

Throughout her nursing career Lesley worked at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD, Bridgeport Hospital, and up until her retirement Milford Hospital. Her nursing specialty was Obstetrics.

Lesley was a past member of the Milford Professional Woman's Club. She enjoyed traveling and was a lover of animals; she was known to never turn a stray away.

Lesley leaves behind her children, Reed (Leigh) Erlacher, Lesley Salokas, Lisa (Ron) Jovanelly, and Laura Erlacher; her grandchildren, Dr. Claire Erlacher-Reid, Lesley Dieffenbacher, Denis Salokas, Amy and Beth Jovanelly, and Eric, Nicole and Megan Gossett; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Flaws, Liam and Emily Dieffenbacher, and Elena and Isabella Salokas. In addition to her parents and husband, Lesley is predeceased by her son, Paul Erlacher, III; brother, Warren Field, Jr., and son-in-law, Glen “Sam” Salokas.

All services will be private as per Lesley’s wishes. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
