Obituary: Nelly M. Aronson, 92, of Milford
Nelly worked as an editor for Standard & Poors and also served as president of the Milford Women's Club and Devon Lady Lions Club.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Nelly M. Aronson, 92, longtime resident of Milford, beloved wife of the late Fred C. Aronson, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2021.
Born on October 12, 1928 in Astoria, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Guy and Debora Martinez.
Nelly graduated from the Mary Louis Academy in 1946 before moving to CT in 1948. She worked as a statistician/editor for Standard & Poors for 33 years. Nelly was an avid roller skater in her younger days and also taught ballroom dancing in both the Milford school system and privately for adults.

She was the third president of the original Milford Women’s Club, a past president of the Devon Lady Lions Club, and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol while living in New York during World War II.
Nelly leaves behind her children, Debora (Gregory Donohue) O’Brien and Nancee (Ron) Taylor; grandchildren, Sean (Beth) O’Brien, Jon Paul Stevens, and Heather (Edwin) Peckham; and great grandchildren, Hayley Fitch, Kaitlyn Peckham, Edwin “EJ” Peckham, and Corbin O’Brien.
All services will be private.

The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.
