Police Respond to Domestic Violence Report in Milford

Two people were arrested after police responded to the domestic violence report Aug. 5 at around 8:30 a.m.

Milford police say they responded to a domestic violence report on Summit Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigation led to the arrest of Edward Cox, 55, of West Haven, and Beth McAdam, 51, of Summit Avenue, police say.

Both are accused of engaging in a verbal argument with each other that turned into a physical altercation, police said.

Cox is charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree strangulation

McAdam is charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Both were released and scheduled to appear in Superior Court, Milford.
