Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Southern CT On Friday Night
More snow accumulation is forecast for southern Connecticut on Friday night and Saturday. Here are the new details.
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service said southern Connecticut is forecast to see 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation late Friday and early Saturday morning.
"Light snow is expected late tonight that could accumulate around 1 to 2 inches. This could cause slippery conditions late tonight into Saturday morning," the weather service said.
The light snow is scheduled to begin just before daybreak and end before noon Saturday, according to the weather service.

The remainder of the weekend looks dry but chilly and windy, especially on Sunday. Next week looks a bit warmer, with daytime high temperatures into the 40s.

Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
