Special Weather Statement Issued For Southern CT Monday
Snow totals have also been reported for several towns in southern Connecticut, too.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Monday morning regarding patchy freezing fog and icy conditions.
"There are reports of some freezing fog within the region. Some of this is locally dense with visibilities down to around a quarter of a mile. With temperatures at or below freezing, any untreated surfaces are icy and therefore slippery. If traveling, use caution, use low beam headlights, slow down, and plan extra time to reach your destination," the weather service said in its special weather statement.
As the morning progresses, conditions will improve as temperatures will moderate into the mid 40s, and Monday night temperatures will only drop to around 40 degrees. Warmer weather continues on Tuesday, before temperatures drop once again on Wednesday into the low 30s.
