SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service said southern Connecticut could see another 2 to 4 inches of snow and sleet accumulation on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

More snow is in the forecast for Saturday too, and rain on Sunday.

There is also a chance of snow late Tuesday, but only a coating of accumulation is possible.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 14. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 33. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow, mainly before 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Light and variable wind.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. North wind around 8 mph.

Wednesday Night: Snow before 4am, then snow, freezing rain, and sleet. Low around 27. East wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
