Stroll Downtown In Search Of Deals: Sidewalk Sales Are Back

MILFORD, CT — Bargain hunters can once again browse deals on clothing, housewares and accessories downtown – Sidewalk Sales in Milford are back on Aug. 14 and 15 during regular business hours.

Shops will move their merchandise to the sidewalk so customers can stroll downtown and browse discounted items, the Downtown Milford Business Association, which hosts the event, said in a statement.

Participating businesses include The Body Waxing Studio, Gilded Lily, Whispers, Inside Living Style, The Lovet Shop, Sophie Claire's, SV Decker, Hawkwood Games, Arciuolo's, The Milford Pharmacy, The Canvas Patch, and Vincent's Jewelry, the DMBA said.

"All of our downtown business owners hand pick their collections, and each store has its own distinct style, so there's truly something for everyone," Tracy Bonosconi, DMBA president, said in a statement. "Start your Saturday at the Farmer’s Market at Wasson Field, then grab some lunch downtown and head on over to the sales. It’s the perfect summer Saturday!"
