U-Haul Truck Crashes, Goes Down Embankment: Milford Fire Dep't

Milford Fire Department responded to a box truck going through a guardrail on Wednesday afternoon.

MILFORD, CT – A box truck crashed through the guardrail on I-95 Northbound, Adam Hansen, Milford Fire Department PIO, said.

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, around 1:29 p.m., Milford Fire Department responded to I-95 Northbound for a report of a box truck off the highway and down the side embankment, Hansen said.

When fire personnel arrived, they found a U-Haul Truck had gone through the guardrail, down the embankment and into the tree line, Hansen said.

Fire personnel checked for and mitigated all hazards, and all occupants made it out of the vehicle, Hansen said.

The occupants were assessed but refused transport to the hospital, Hansen said.
