William W. Buckley

William Wallace Buckley, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 21, 2025 in his home in Bridgeport. Bill was born September 30, 1965 in Bridgeport to the late William Buckley and Mildred Saranelli.

Bill was a well-known, loved, and loyal friend to many. He was an amazing painter and handyman who could fix anything. If there was anything you needed, Bill was the one to call and he would help in any way he could. Bill enjoyed rocking out to heavy metal music and gathering with friends.

Animals had an affinity toward Bill and would seek him out for affection. Bill’s most treasured gift in this world was his beautiful daughter, Alyssa. He loved going out to eat and talking to her on the phone and talking about her with his friends. He was so proud of her and didn’t hesitate to tell everyone he met about her.

Bill will be sadly missed by his daughter, Alyssa Buckley; his sister Patricia Skudlarek and her husband Carl; sister Laura Goncalves; sister-in law-Michelle Horvath; nephews and nieces: John R. Anderson and his wife Melisa, Dennis Anderson and his wife Angela, and Kelley Annuzzi and her husband Vincent, along with several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother,Thomas Buckley .

Family and Friends are invited to gather at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday, January 2, 2026 with a Prayer Service at 6:45pm.
