Woman Accused of Shoplifting from Milford Store

Milford police say they responded to a shoplifting report at the JC Penney in the Connecticut Post Mall on Boston Post Road Aug. 4 at around 2 p.m.

Investigation led to the arrest of Genesys Rivera, 25, of New Haven, police say.

She is accused of stealing approximately $250 worth of merchandise from the store, police say.

Rivera is charged with sixth-degree larceny.

She was released on a petition to appear in Milford Superior Court on Sept. 1.
