CT United Rider Injured After Driver Cut Into Procession: Report
An event organizer said the driver's actions caused a motorcycle to be run off the road.

MONROE, CT — A driver cut into the middle of one of the state's biggest 9/11 tributes Sunday, according to the event's organizer. Fred Garrity told the Trumbull Times that during the CT United Ride, a driver pulled out into a T intersection and caused a motorcycle to go off the road.
The rider had to be hospitalized and the incident sparked a 10-minute gap in the line of motorcycles. Garrity told the publication that the group secured permits and police escorts to ride its loop from Norwalk to Bridgeport.
The driver was cited for failing to yield right-of-way.
