An Elm Street woman reported a dirt bike stolen from a locked shed on her property Nov. 23. Police said the woman's son put his 2009 Kawasaki 140cc dirt bike in the shed in the backyard and secured it with a padlock at around 6 p.m. on Nov. 22, but the next day he found the shed door open and the padlock and the bike missing. Nothing else had been taken from the shed, according to the report.The white and green dirt bike was bought used for $1,700 last year, police said.
