J.P. Sredzinski Endorsed by CBIA, NFIB

The announcement came Monday, Oct. 10.

The National Federation of Independent Business Connecticut SAFE Trust (NFIB) and the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) have both endorsed JP Sredzinski in his campaign for re‐election to State Representative for the 112th District representing both Monroe and Newtown.

CBIA president and CEO Joe Brennan has emphasized the importance of moving Connecticut forward, “The upcoming legislative session will be one of the most critical we’ve faced as our economy continues to recover slowly, lagging behindthe region and the country. We must elect candidates who understand the urgency facing our state, and will make the decisions necessary to grow the economy, create jobs and help Connecticut reach its full potential. JP understands the urgency in getting Connecticut back on track and he has made the difficult decisions in an effort to keep Connecticut competitive, serving his constituents well.”

The NFIB has cited Sredzinski’s strong record supporting business in Connecticut as the basis for their endorsement and that he is “committed to the needs of thousands of Main Street small businesses and their employees in Connecticut when re‐elected to serve in Hartford.”

In response to both endorsements, JP has stated that “Improving Connecticut's economy has been a top priority for me in my first term as State Representative, so these two endorsements mean a lot to me. NFIB and CBIA are two organizations that have the pulse of the business community and I greatly appreciate their support in my 2016 campaign for re‐election. Together, we will continue to work toward making our state more business friendly.”
