On September 8th Lorraine (Lori) celebrated her 100th birthday. A week before, we had a wonderful party in a gathering of friends and family to help her celebrate. Lori is the wife of Bernard Sippin, who at 96 this still living. Lori has been a lifelong member of the Monroe Congregational church, where she enjoys strong relationships with the parish and God. At 100 years of age, Lori has a crystal-clear memory, and recalls events throughout her life, going all the way back to her childhood where she was born, in Rockford Illinois. She wanted to take an opportunity to thank everybody from Monroe and a local community for all of the love and support she is enjoyed throughout her life in Monroe.
