Masuk High To Host Selectman's Debate: Report

A debate between the town's three First Selectman candidates will be held Thursday.

MONROE, CT — The three candidates vying for Monroe's First Selectman seat will answer questions in a debate at Masuk High School Thursday evening, reports the Monroe Courier. The debate will feature Frank Bennett, Dan Hunsberger (D) and Ken Kellogg (R).

The three men will run in November to see who will take over for Steve Vavrek, the current First Selectman. The candidates will answer questions on local issues and other issues of importance.

The debate begins at 7 p.m. in the Masuk High School auditorium. Questions may be submitted via email, and the League of Women Voters of the Bridgeport area will host the event.
