Mile Stretch of Route 111 to Close for 10 Days

Bridge and roadway over Beardsley Brook will be replaced starting on Aug. 11.

The portion of Route 111 between Cross Hill Road and Route 110 will be closed for 10 days starting on Aug. 11 while crews do a full reconstruction of the culvert and roadway.

A new culvert, wingwalls and cast-in-place parapets will be installed for a new bridge over Beardsley Brook. Once construction starts — slated for 6 a.m. Aug. 11 — the mile-long section of Route 111 will be closed until the crews finish repaving, projected for 6 a.m. Aug. 21.
