Monroe DPW Issues Traffic Alerts
Four road projects this week and next will impact motorists in town.

MONROE, CT — Town officials this week have announced a series of local road projects that could impact motorists going to and from destinations in Monroe.
According to the Monroe Public Works Department, the following road projects are ongoing:
• Gay Bower Road from Route 111 to Woodlawn Road for curbing and aprons work. (Moderate impact)

• East Village Road from Barn Hill Road to the Shelton town line for paving work. (Moderate impact)
• Pepperidge Road from Cross Hill Road to the cul-de-sac for curbing and apron work. (Moderate impact)

• Pepper Street from Grant Road to the north end of Route 25 for utility and drainage construction. (Moderate impact).
The traffic impacts are for the June 13 through June 26 time period, according to the Monroe DPW.
