Monroe Forms Superintendent Search Committee: Report
The efforts to find Jim Agostine's successor are underway.

MONROE, CT — The Monroe Board Of Education formed a search committee for the district's newest superintendent Monday, reports the Monroe Courier. The committee includes all members of the school board, and one person representing parents, teachers and administration.
Those representatives are due to be announced during the next meeting. Interim Superintendent John Battista said the search for candidates will not be public.

Candidates will have a public hiring discussion once they are named. The committe's first job is to interview search companies.
