Monroe Holding GOP, Dem Primaries Tuesday
Local Republicans and Democrats will have a hand in choosing their candidates for November's elections.

Connecticut’s Republicans are heading to the polls Tuesday for the 2014 GOP primary — which includes state races for governor, lieutenant governor and comptroller — and so are some Monroe Democrats.
Polls will be open state wide from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (see Monroe’s voting districts below) for all registered Republicans. Districts 2 and 3 (Stepney and Monroe Elementary) will also have voting booths open for Democrats nominating for the 21st State Senatorial District.

Monroe’s four districts vote at four separate polling places:
District 1: Fawn Hollow Elementary School
District 2: Stepney Elementary School
District 3: Monroe Elementary School
District 4: Masuk High School
