Monroe Launches Contest To Design CT250 Anniversary Logo
Monroe invites residents to submit original logo designs for the CT250 celebration; winning entry to be featured during 2026 events.
MONROE, CT — The Town of Monroe has announced a community-wide contest to design an official logo for its participation in the nationwide CT250 celebration, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Open to all Monroe residents, the contest seeks original designs that incorporate the number “250” alongside the words “Monroe” and “Connecticut.” Submissions must be entered electronically in JPEG format between April 15 and June 15, 2025. The winning design will be used throughout the town’s 2026 commemorative events and promotional materials.
The CT250 initiative encourages communities to reflect on their historical contributions to the nation's founding and ongoing development. Local organizers aim to ensure Monroe’s history is highlighted in a way that resonates across ages and backgrounds.
