Monroe Man Arrested For Sexual Assault: Police
Police said the man knew his alleged victim.
MONROE, CT — A local man was charged with sexual assault on Dec. 8, according to Monroe Police. Jose Perez, 39, was arrested after a two-month long investigation.
Police said Perez knew the victim, and that he turned himself in after learning of the warrant out for his arrest. Further details about the alleged assault were not released.
Perez was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of public indecency. He posted a $50,000 bond and is due in court on Dec. 15.
