Monroe Motorcyclist Killed In Waterford Crash: CSP
A 60-year-old Monroe motorcyclist was killed in a crash while driving through Waterford on Interstate 395.
MONROE, CT — A Monroe motorcyclist was killed in a crash while driving through Waterford on Interstate 395, according to Connecticut State Police.
Marc Pennino, 60, of Roosevelt Drive, was traveling southbound on a Harley Davidson SXFT Softail around 11:30 Monday morning. Pennino struck the rear of a Ford Fiesta as the motorcyclist entered the right lane, where the Ford was slowing down. The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike, according to the police report. He was not wearing a helmet. The Fiesta driver was uninjured.
The crash closed down traffic on I-395 southbound from Exit 2 in Waterford to Interstate 95 for several hours Monday, while both vehicles were towed from the scene.
