Monroe PD Finds Person With Gunshot Wound During Medical Call: Report

MONROE, CT — Police found a person suffering from a gunshot wound during a medical call to a Laurel Drive residence Tuesday night, the CT Post has reported.

Further investigation indicated the gun shot injury did not occur in Monroe, and may have taken place in a different state a day prior, according to the Post.

The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, and the shooting is still under investigation.
