Monroe Police Raise Funds for Special Olympics Through Tip-a-Cop Program

The Monroe Police Department raised $2,300 for Special Olympics of Connecticut at a recent Tip-a-Cop event.

MONROE, CT — The Monroe Police Department recently hosted their 2016 Tip a Cop at Roberto's Restaurant in Monroe. Thanks to the generosity of all who came out, the department raised $2,300 for Special Olympics of Connecticut.

Sergeant Pete Howard organized the event and Roberto's hosting it. The police would like to that all those who participated and donated to the cause.
