Monroe Resident Matthew Joseph Haight, 31, Passed Away Peacefully

Monroe, CT — Matthew Joseph Haight, 31, of Monroe passed away peacefully in Danbury Hospital June 10, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He is the son of Richard P and Elena Haight and beloved brother of Richard P. Haight Jr. and Lauren V. Haight.

He is also Survived by paternal grandmother, Mary L. HaightHe was predeceased by Maternal Grandparents, Ronald and Virginia Mendes and Paternal Grandfather Richard Allen Haight.

Born in Bridgeport, Ct May 5, 1985 Matthew enjoyed spending his time listening to music, eating Mexican food, sharing laughs and going to the beach. He was a wonderful son and a deeply loved and appreciated brother and friend. His smile was contagious- that stretched from ear to ear. He had a sincere care for nature and a real special ability to perceive humor and appreciate any joke. Although we will miss his laughs and smiles, he will remain forever in our hearts.
