Monroe Woman Stole Over $10K Worth Of Jewelry From Store: Milford PD

A woman is accused of stealing two valuable rings from a jewelry case while she was working at a department store, police said.

MONROE, CT — A Monroe woman is accused of stealing $10,810.90 worth of jewelry from the Macy's at a Milford mall where she worked, according to police.

Milford police were dispatched to the Connecticut Post Mall on March 8 on a report of a theft.

An investigation led to the arrest of Sarah Alberghini, 46, of Monroe. She was charged with second-degree larceny.

She is accused of stealing two rings out of a jewelry case while she was employed at Macy's.

Her bond was set at $1,000. She's due to appear in court April 3.
