Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash With Car On Route 34 In Monroe, Police Say
A motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing into the back of a car on Route 34 in Monroe. The road later reopened.
MONROE, CT — A motorcyclist was hospitalized Sunday after colliding with the rear of a car on Route 34 in Monroe, police said.
The crash occurred east of the Lake Zoar Drive-In when the motorcycle struck a vehicle that had stopped for traffic, according to police. The rider was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police said their serious accident reconstruction team responded to the scene. The road was closed for several hours and reopened by 6:55 p.m.
