Neighbors Enraged Over Dilapidated Property In Monroe: Report
One Town Council member even spoke up over the issue.

MONROE, CT — A uncared for property on Ridge Dale Road has enraged local residents, even spawning a town council member to speak on the issue, reports the Monroe Courier. The property is owned by a bank, and was involved in a divorce.
Town Council member Enid Lipeles stepped down from the dais to speak to the council about the property, which she called "a blight to my mind to the worst," according to the publication.
Photos Lipeles showed at the meeting showed chopped trees, overgrown grass and a junked vehicle on the property.
