No Bones About It: All Monroe Dogs Must Be Licensed in June

The State of Connecticut requires that all dogs must have Rabies vaccinations.

From the Town of monroe:

Monroe dog owners that have dogs six (6) months of age and over must be licensed annually during the month of June.

The new 2016 licenses are available at the Town Clerk's office June 1st Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The State of Connecticut requires that all dogs must have Rabies vaccinations. Therefore, when licensing a dog it will be necessary to present current Rabies vaccination certificate, not the tag, and if licensing a dog for the first time, it will be necessary to present the spaying or neutering certificate in order to obtain the lower license fee.
