Family: I’m married wife Veronica and I have 3 adult children Ryan, Shannon and Kerry. All of which have gone through the Monroe School System. My wife was a para educator at Stem Academy
Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? Yes I am the Deputy Registrar of Voters in Monroe
Why are you seeking this office? I am all about common sense leadership. One where we can openly discuss and resolve issues. Despite the many challenges we need to keep the excellent education system while making room for new students. Creating a system to improve our 65 plus year old schools.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: Improving the Monroe School system while dealing with Unfunded State mandates which adversely affect the taxpayers.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?Experience - both publicly and privately. I have served on Many Non-Profit boards and have multiple years of corporate administrative experience.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign? Fight to have our legislative leadership understand the impact of unfunded mandates on our schools and our taxpayers
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job? I have served with distinction on the Board of Education for the past 4 years
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you? Listen with both ears and talk half as much
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions? I have and will continue to serve the Monroe Community proudly when re-elected
