Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? No
Previous public office, appointive or elective: Yes currently a member of the Board of Finance
Why are you seeking this office? To give back to the Town I grew up in!
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: As a member of the Board of Finance it’s about being Fiscally responsible to the taxpayers of Monroe. To assist the First Selectman with budget process.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? I just recently retired from 40 years of Law Enforcement. My last seven as the Police Chief. I was responsible for preparing and submitting the Police Department's budget and being fiscally responsible in the process.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign? Anything that I am asked to help better the Town of Monroe.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job? Previous experience in the budget process.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you? Be honest and transparent in everything that you do in life.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions? That I will remain fiscally responsible when the time comes to vote on budgetary items presented to the Board of Finance.
