Plunge at the Park Will Benefit Special Olympics
Event will take place at Wolfe Park, April 2nd

All are invited to sign up for the Plunge at the Park hosted by officers with the Monroe Police Department to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut which will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at Wolfe Park. Participants in the Plunge will jump into the chilly waters to support Special Olympics' year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes around the state and help create communities that accept and include people of all abilities. Great Hollow Lake at Wolfe Park is located at 454 Doc Silverstone Drive in Monroe. On the day of the event, check-in will begin at 10 a.m. and the Plunge will take place at noon. To register and find out more, visit soct.org. Registration is $25 and participants are asked to raise an additional $75 to support Special Olympics athletes. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
