The Board of Education approved wording in the School Resource Officer memo of understanding to include police wearing body cameras on school property. Police will begin wearign body cameras next month. School officials have plans in place to ensure students rights are not violated, said board chair Donna Lane. The board wanted to ensure the cameras did not violate the Federal Educational Rights &amp; Privacy Act (FERPA), according to the publication.
