A Chalk Hill Road woman reported the theft of a $100 Garmin GPS from her unlocked vehicle on Dec. 2. Police said the vehicle was parked in the driveway.
Nothing else in the vehicle was taken, but the glove box had been rummaged through, according to police.

Monuments Toppled
The owner of Hughes and Chapman Monument Co. 96 Main Street, told police Dec. 23 that someone knocked over several monuments on display in the yard of the business.

Police said the incident took place sometime between Dec. 21 and 23.
The owner said he had not yet stood the stones back up to assess if there was any damage, according to the report.
