MONROE, CT — First Selectman Kenneth M. Kellogg shared updates on several new businesses that have opened and more are on the way.

In his update to residents, Kellogg wrote:

  • ALDI - Groundbreaking was last week; the new grocery store plans to open at 205 Monroe Turnpike in the Fall 2024.
  • Jersey Mike's and Chipotle are both open at 143 Purdy Hill Road.
  • iRepair, a screen replacement service for touch screen products is open at 292 Elm Street.
  • Hi Paws, a new pet grooming business, is open at 437 Monroe Turnpike.
  • Starbucks – The old house at 255 Monroe Turnpike has been demolished and removed for site preparation work.
  • Awesome Toys & Gifts is open at 464 Main Street.
