Someone Tried To Withdraw $9K From Victim's Account In Monroe: Report
Bank employees didn't release any funds, according to a report in the Monroe Sun.

MONROE, CT — Police are investigating a reported fraud attempt where someone tried unsuccessfully to withdraw $9,300 from a Cheshire couple's account at the Connex Credit Union branch in late November, the Monroe Sun reported.
A woman went into the branch and attempted to use a "fraudulent passport" to try and withdraw the funds, the Monroe Sun reported. Bank employees didn't release any funds.
