Havilan M. Tweedy II, 81, died on Apr. 16, 2025; he was president of Havilan Landscaping Co. Inc., a longtime Monroe resident active in civic and church organizations, and enjoyed community service, philately, and leadership roles with local EMS and historical groups.

Gary Steven Pannone, 72, died on Apr. 8, 2025; he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, worked over 40 years as a database manager, and enjoyed fly fishing, gardening, birdwatching, mushroom hunting, classic rock, and coaching Little League.

Margaret E. Steskla, 93, died on Mar. 23, 2025; she worked as a cafeteria manager in the food industry, was a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order, and enjoyed Christmas crafts, reading, and watching "Days of Our Lives."

Robert “Doug” Stevens, 78, died on Mar. 25, 2025; he worked in engineering and supply chain management with Westinghouse and later as a consultant and educator, contributed to professional certification programs, was active at St. Jude’s Church, and enjoyed traveling and time with family.
