SUV Goes Into a Yard Off Route 110, Gets Stuck On a Rock

The O'Hara's heard a revving outside their house on Shelton Road Wednesday evening and saw an older man behind the wheel of an SUV caught up on a rock in their yard.

"He had the accelerator to the floor," said Pat O'Hara, who is chairman of the Planning & Zoning Commission in town. "I slammed on the window and he looked at me with kind of a blank stare."

O'Hara believes the man mistook his driveway for a road and turned onto it from Route 110, before getting hung up on a rock in his yard.
