United Methodist Church Announces Vacation Bible School
The church's Vacation Bible School program is open to children in grades K-5 and takes place Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15.
The United Methodist Church of Monroe invites all children entering grades K-5 to join the church's Surf Shack Vacation Bible School. At Surf Shack, children will explore how God creates, helps, loves and calms. Attendees will learn about Moses, the baptism of Jesus, the calming of the storm and will celebrate Breakfast on the Beach.
Adventures include music, crafts, storytelling, fun times and snacks.

Surf Shack takes place July 11-15 from 6-8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Monroe, located at 515 Cutlers Farm Rd. The cost to attend is $10 per child with a maximum of $20 per family. Payment can be made in cash or check, payable to UMC Monroe with "VBC" in the memo line. Prepayment would be appreciated.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, July 6 and is first-come, first-served until the program reaches capacity.
