Woman Stole, Pawned Tools From Monroe Home: Police
Police say the woman used the homeowner's car to drive the stolen items to area pawn shops.

MONROE, CT ― A Waterbury woman was arrested Monday after an investigation into a larceny from a home on Jockey Hollow Road in August, Monroe police said. Jennifer Spezzano, 38, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday after police said she stole tools and cash from the home.

Police were called to a home in August after its residents returned home and found "big tool items" missing from their garage and cash missing from the home. Investigators say Spezzano, who was a friend of the woman who was house sitting for them, stole the tools and cash.
Spezzano also used the homeowner's car to take the stolen items to area pawn shops, police said.

She was charged with larceny in the third degree, conspiracy to commit larceny, using a motor vehicle without the owner's permission. She was released after posting a $25,000 bond and is due in court on Sept. 28.
Police say more arrests are expected.
