VIDEO: Special Olympics Torch Run

The first day of the 25th annual Law Enforcement Torch Run began Wednesday when hundreds of law enforcement personnel and volunteers ran the first leg of a three-day run across the state. Local law enforcement officers carried the "Flame of Hope" through towns in New London County and all over eastern Connecticut.

The run will conclude Friday, June 10, on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, where the arrival of the torch will kick start the Summer Games.
