Here’s what readers said on social media:
- "Not enough need a few on Rubber Ave exit. People fly up and down all the time. Speed limit is 25 so the most you should do is 30. People go as fast as 55 -60 sometimes. Need more cops patrolling the area."
- "I want to see a red light at the 4-way intersection near the Board of Ed and the Senior Center. It's an accident waiting to happen"
- "Not necessarily, but it would be nice if the timing on them was programmed to work with the flow from each side....AND, if they were maintained/ worked properly...for example, the Green Arrow continues to be an issue when coming from 63/ at Union Street and holds up a LOT of heavy traffic."
- "I have to go through the one at American Pie coming off of High Street almost every day that light will stay red for 7 minutes at a time"
- "The better question would be, do you think they should make it a right turn only where the double lane is on New Haven Road in front of McDonalds. The one where everybody thinks hop in the right lane and pass. I have seen to actual fist fights because of that."
- "Getting out of Walmart or condos at brooke valley estates takes forever to change near bakery and gas station when sitting at Walmart light takes forever"
- "The light under 8 going towards nardellis is only green for a few seconds but is red for ever. I hate it."
- "The blinking red ones off Exit 28 and by Auto Zone are such a waste! Why not just have stop signs?"
- "Way too many...why can't they make the light at the high school blink red when school closes for the day...what a waste of gas to have to stop"
- You have to sit at the light at the bottom of Osborn Road for 5 minutes before if changes"
