Holiday Garbage, Recycling Collection Schedule Announced For Naugatuck

Naugatuck Public Works has announced the garbage and recycling schedule for the weeks of Christmas and New Year's Eve.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Garbage and recycling collection will be delayed in Naugatuck during the weeks of both Christmas and New Year's Eve/Day, according to Naugatuck Public Works.

In a Facebook post Monday, the department announced all collections will be delayed by one day following both holidays.

Residents are asked to place their carts at the curb on their adjusted collection day.

Curbside Christmas tree pickup will take place during the week of Jan. 5, weather permitting.

Trees must be placed at the curb free of all decorations, lights, tinsel, stands and bags on residents' regular garbage collection dates, according to the department.
