Along with planned surgery, which includes neutering, Rip has received X-rays costing over $600 and pre-surgical bloodwork, according to Animal Control.

"We are shooting for a goal of $5,000 to help cover his vetting," the post reads. "Rip will be fostered by one of our [animal control officers] during recovery, and then re-evaluated and hopefully find his forever home!"
