NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A business was badly damaged in a fire Tuesday night in Naugatuck, according to officials.

Emergency crews responded to a structure fire at A1 Auto & Towing at 592 Prospect Street in Naugatuck, according to Naugatuck police.

Naugatuck police, fire, ambulance, along with mutual aid, were operating at the scene late Tuesday night, according to police.

Prospect Street was closed from Maple Hill Road to Union City Road. Police said the road closure was expected to last several hours.
